How you got into sports? And when it was exactly?

I began playing in the school age. After I moved to Portland San Antonio Academy and after this I moved directly to train.

Biggest challenge in coaching during your career till now?

We can say until now I did not look for an profi contract. I had the chances, but I did not go into them. So this is my first profi experience.

What’s your advice for young athletes?

They need to realize the chance they have. It is important to keep the study education, to be fit and to work hard daily. Talent cannot substitute hard work and persistence.

What’s your next goal in near future?

We need to stay in the present. Nowadays I want to work as hard as I can to move forward the Slovak handball. In the future we will see the options that will arrive and if they are interesting. I am open to every chance.

Are you a fan of other sports, do you watch other sports in your free time?

I can say I like mostly every sport. Basket, Football, Ski, Padel, Tenis… So, when I have the chance I like to watch any sport.

Who was your idol when you started?

Oleg Kisselev. He has been one of the most unbelievable and complete players I have never seen. He is a good friend and we keep in touch. Veselin Vujovic too. I was lucky to be able of watching both of them playing in Spain.

Is there somebody who is still giving you an advice?

Of course. I like to say, you never end learning. There are a lot of people with who I speak and who give me advices. Specially I receive a lot of advices from Zupo Equisoain, Manolo Cadenas, Juan Carlos Pastor and Jota González.
