Before puberty

Many children begin with the sport in the earlier age. It means lower than 6 years. Parents and children must solve a problem when is the best time begin strengthening and what types of exercises are the best for children. At the age from six to tvelve is very important parental care. Parents must encourage their children at sport but they can not forget that fitness center at this age is harmful for their children.

Many experts have the same opinion that strengthening before twelve years is not suitable for children at this age. Children should be for this type of activity mentally grown. Parents should not force the children to strengthening it must be a decision from child. If it is only decision by parents children are not concentrated during excercise. Strengthening is good prevention against injury and do some exercises from very litlle age can help children to be better prepare before they start with heavy weights in older age. Children should be encouraged at sport activities already at nursery school. On the other hand physiological maturity is coming in pubertal age. It include children older than 15 years.

Before pubertal age we can prepare childĀ“s body. Children younger than 15 years should not excercise at the fitness center with dumbbells with heavier weights. Suitable at this age before fifteen years are simple excercises but they can include some anaerobic excersises emerging heart and cilculatory system. For example: cycling, swimming and other activity.

During puberty

If are children at pubertal age their body is producing hormons. It means that children at this age are ready start strengthening at the fitness center. However is very important be careful if you are first time at fitness center. It is very important choose excercises which do not prevent skeleton growth because it is still in growth. Children in this period of life can start strengthening in fitness center regulary. It is better to prioritize more reps with lighter weights. When is children body ripe what is very different they can start strengthening with heavier weights.
