When did you started with coaching?

I start to coach 1999. A young team 12 – 13 years old kids. I stay with them few years, from who I make some nice and good players. But my first steps in handball was long time before, in France 1970, I had 9 years when I felt inlove on this sport.

What would be your advice for young coaches, so they could become famous as you are?

My advise to all young coaches will be to try to have their own looks and make their system of coaching. To be patient and work years after years. The results in sport come back after many years of work. To not only look for results, the best coaches make the players.

Is there a goal you didn´t achieve yet or is there a country you would like to try?

Of course we have all of us goals that we will like to achieve. I will like to coach one small country national team and for a few years of serious work and systematic work try to make some good results and first of all some good players who will could play in any high level club. I think country like Cameron, Senegal, Congo. African country where players have a very nice physical skills. Need only a good technical and professional organization.

What was your greatest moment in your career and on other site bad moment in your career you remember till now.

My realy great day was 3 years ago when I success to get a 3rd place with my club from Morroco, in the African championship of club winner of cup. It was the first time that marrocan club get one medal. And my my enjoyment was greatest becouse I make it without any other recruiting players from other club and with one of youngers team in the championship. Bad moments? I try to forgot…. I love handball and nothing isn’t bad for me on it. Any loose match for me was a bad moment, but I understand that we must to loose… It’s sport… But I will never could feel good after loose matches.

Are there any special abilities which player needs in your sport? What would you refer to players so they could be successful?

Handball is a very hard sport. Players must to have so many abilities. To be strong, lot of power, good coordination, very speed, agility, hight jumb, hight mental ability, smart and thinking very quickly…. And more, more… But the first thing is to love his sport and work hard to give up his level every days, because we can always be better. Personally I particularly work on the legs speed, on the game speed and high technical level of players.

Are you a fan of other sports, do you watch other sports in your free time?

Of course I am fan of all sports and I watch all kind of sport. But the most football, basketball and volleyball but I like to watch also water-polo, athletic. And always try to catch from other sport what I could make in my sport.

Who was your idol when you started? Is there somebody who is still giving you an advice?

In Serbia we had a so strong and nice players and coaches. Our school of handball was one of the best in the world. I had so many of them to learn the better things from handball.
