What does a professional player need
In order to become a professional athlete, you need to train countless of hours and work in several areas in order to excel in your sport and become a professional.
Everyone can do it if they work on themselves hard enough and master their skills which take a lot of work and sacrifice.
Every sport is specific, but at the same time it has similar characteristics which an athlete must have in order to become a professional.
Technical skill
-Players learn the technique from a young age so that they control every single movement which is needed for the sport they do. The coach leads you to perform the technique as precisely and best as possible. If you control it, you will enjoy sports and playing matches without thinking about whether it was played technically correct or not. You have to spend many hours on the training grounds and repetition is the way to do it. Some will get into it faster and some take longer, but most athletes are predisposed to reach the best possible level of movement. Whether you play with a ball, a hockey stick or a racket, it’s always about multiple repetitions until you’re a role model for someone else. The older you are, the better the technique is because you have several thousand repetitions behind you.
Physical readiness
-professional athletes must be physically fit to be able to achieve the best possible performance (the force of hitting the ball, to be able to play long matches, etc.). There are many elements to work on. Body strengthening, fitness endurance, speed, flexibility, coordination. Muscles must be well prepared so that they can perform at their best.
Exceptionality
-if you want someone to notice you, you have to excel in something … of course the players work on their weaknesses, but if you want someone to notice you, you have to improve the activity in which you are good as well, so the club choose you just for your uniqueness that you have in yourself and that will help the team and make you different from others. For example: to finish the ball from a long distance, go around several players at once and then finish, always able to pass so that your teammate has a very easy task to finish, process the high ball without the slightest collision, block the opponent at important moments and many other activities. You need to choose 1-2 and work on them to perfection.
You need to work on yourself every day! It was late yesterday, so you need to work on yourself if you want to become a professional and if you want a club to notice you.
In all these aspects and skills, personal trainers, fitness trainers, scouts will give you a tip on what clubs pay the most attention to or what they require from players so that you can prepare yourself as best you can. Of course, you have to set your goal in your head and follow it. Watching the best in your sports that you do will help you a lot. Watch their matches and workouts and try to imitate them or be better than them. Maybe one day you can play in one team with them.
We wish you a lot of success
